Due to being a protected species in the state of Iowa there is a window of time starting June 1st, that professionals cannot remove bats because of the vulnerability of their babies and their inability to fly. Since our exclusion methods involve ensuring that bats cannot re-enter your home, that would leave the pups in a vulnerable condition. Department of Natural Resources will tell us when we are allowed to re-establish exclsuion fo bats, but we strongly encourage home owners and commercial proerty owners to act before June 1!
